- If a new vehicle does not conform to the express warranty and you report it in writing to the manufacturer before the warranty expires or within 1 year of delivery, whichever is earlier, the manufacturer must repair it (NRS 597.610).
- If it cannot be fixed after a reasonable number of attempts and the defect substantially impairs use and value, the manufacturer must replace it or refund the price, less a reasonable allowance for use (NRS 597.630).
- A reasonable number of attempts is presumed after 4 or more repairs of the same problem, or 30 or more cumulative days out of service, within the warranty or 1 year (NRS 597.630).
- If the manufacturer has an informal dispute procedure, you must use it first (NRS 597.620). Suits must start within 18 months of delivery (NRS 597.650), and waivers are void (NRS 597.660).
